I've been a producer throughout all of it. Engineering and production aren't separate worlds to me. They inform each other every time I sit down in a session.
The environment in a session with me is critical, creative, and above all, fun. That's not a contradiction. The goal is always the same: best takes, best quality, best music. Full stop. I push artists to give something real, and I build everything technical around whatever that takes.

I live by two things: Art is subjective, and "good" art makes you feel something. I don't care what the feeling is. Sadness, anger, excitement, nostalgia, happiness. If you don't feel anything from the music, it's not done. Everything comes down to the mix.
In January 2021 I set out to build a space of my own, somewhere to record, produce, mix, and master with zero disruptions. It took months of fighting the city of St. Petersburg for approval to put an external structure in my backyard, and when it finally came through that May, I started laying the foundation. My dad and I poured the concrete and framed the structure until the whole skeleton stood, and from there I finished it alone, nailing in the siding and roofing the shingles in the peak of a Florida June.
I was obsessed with building the perfect recording environment in a big, loud city.
The room lives or dies on what's inside the walls. I caulked every inch of the frame and OSB with Green Glue, packed the stud cavities with Rockwool insulation, then decoupled the walls with GenieClips and hat channels, floating the drywall on a pocket of air so sound loses its path to travel through. Over that I hung two layers of 5/8" drywall with a sound-deadening layer of Green Glue pressed between them, sealed every edge, mudded, painted, and laid the floor.
Then I built the acoustics by hand: 21 panels, wood frames I cut and filled with the same Rockwool, wrapped in breathable mesh and burlap, hung across every wall and suspended from the ceiling. This is my studio, built entirely by me.
